Krug was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a visionary with great passion. It holds a unique library of over 150 reserve wines, some of which are over 15 years old.

This Krug Grande Cuvée 171st Edition is a blend of 131 wines from 12 different years. The youngest dates from 2015 and the oldest from 2000. The reserve wines from Krug's vast library make up 42% of the final blend, giving this edition a rare fullness and roundness. Resting for around seven years in the House cellars gives it its particular expression and elegance. Each glass contains the result of more than 20 years of in-depth expertise.
